I came to Jan’s Tai Chi Beginners’ Course after pretty much wrecking my body: arthritis in my left shoulder and left ankle, damaged ligaments in my left foot, stiff right shoulder, tight right hip which sometimes causes back spasms, and torn meniscus in my right knee. I didn’t think I’d be able to participate, or only minimally, but I am able to do most of the exercises he incorporates into classes, and it has already helped me to improve my posture, balance, strength and flexibility. Jan provides a calm, friendly training atmosphere, and gives very clear and helpful instruction. I definitely recommend his classes.
