Qi Gong is a method of precise, repetitive, whole-body movements combined with deep or reverse-breathing methods to increase range of motion, lung capacity, promote flexibility, bone strength, co-ordination, softness, relaxed power, deep relaxation and focused attention undistracted by a wandering mind. It makes any other sport more powerful and is the basic building block for Tai Chi, like the scales or arpeggios in music.
